After the war, the universe was largely split into two groups, the intergalactice police and the criminals. There was no gray and you were either on the good side of the law or the bad. However, 3 years after the war, mitigation groups began popping up, the bounty hunters. They worked largely to collect criminals, but methods weren't always inside the law, creating animosity between them and the intergalactic police as well. Due to their specializations it is often ignored simply to put some of the more dangerous criminals behind bars.
Amongst those who travel by the stars is a group with a capture ratio of nearly 100%. A group so feared by the space criminals, some commit suicide rather than try to run. This Bounty Hunting Group calls itself "Nexus". It is rumored the crew on the ship boasts at least 50 strong. However, there are are a certain few that are widely known, the most popular being their captain, Alastor Nightwing, a handsome Varn male with a reputation for suave mannerisms and deadly accuracy with his plasma saber. Amongst his most loyal crew are his bridge hands, whom little is know of. Together they fly upon a ship of Alastor's own findings, a beautiful large white ship unlike any seen before. They call it Fever.
However...there lies a disturbance in the ship no one knows of yet besides the captain himself, for on his back grows the horrifically lovely markings of a Geostigma, the odd disease sweeping the universe. Alastor has kept this secret hidden to most, and regularly takes the only known medication to suppress it. He also regularly does alchemical research using his own body to try and find a new suppressant or cure. However it slowly grows, spreading, and threatening to consume...
Little does this group know, they will be the ones to unlock the mysteries of the universe, and save it from the destruction and decay of the Geostigma.
